Positive: The grounds are beautiful! Attentive owners and a fabulous breakfast. Beds are comfortable and plenty of hot water in shower. Definitely recommend!

Positive: We loved our time at this hostel, the hostst are very helpfull and kind. Our private lodge was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. The big highlight: their strong focus on sustainability. The place is largely self-sufficient and run with real care for the environment. Bonus: they have two super friendly dogs that made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

Positive: The owners are very kind and helpful. There are two guys who are river guides and speak English, super nice as well. Really awesome building. Good water, good WiFi, comfy beds. Beautiful property. Felt very safe. Incredibly clean. Free drinking water. Breakfast was good. Let me store some things in the fridge. Really beautiful sunsets from just outside the property.

Negative: You have to walk up 2 hills to get to the property from downtown (20 mins) or take a taxi for ~$1.50. Toilets don’t use water to conserve, fine for me. Kitchen is for staff only.

Summary: Would stay here again in Tena.

Negative: There is a hole instead of a toilet, the whole room smells terrible. There is no soundproofing at all, some Germans were farting loudly and laughing all morning behind the wall. There is not a single chair in the room, not a single table, there is absolutely nowhere to put a computer, it is impossible to work. For breakfast they gave cold coffee with cold milk. It is just awful.
